This is the first time that I am hearing about this type of etiquette. I will definitely have to keep it in mind for the future. :)

When I was planning my first wedding it was hard not to get angry with guests that took forever to RSVP. I actually had some of my ex's friends that thought it was okay to just text him to tell him their RSVP - even though I'd spent money on the RSVP cards.

Because of this I make sure to always RSVP before the deadline and if there's something to mail back I mail it back.
