It's all about color!
Color sets the mood and the tone for your event, from the Save-the-Dates through the invitations and then the actual event. Color can invoke a mood or set the tone - pink (romantic), red (sexy), green (lively), purple (regal). I advise clients to choose a neutral (and remember navy or taupe can be your neutral), a main color and then an accent color. Have fun with the combinations and make them a reflection of your unique style. When considering your color palette: Think of the venue and the surroundings; The season; Your favorit team colors; Your favorite flowers; Or perhaps look through other brides' inspiration pages. Most importantly, have fun and make it your own!

Awesome advice! We went with grape (main), silver (accent), white (neutral) and lavender (accent) for our wedding. Everything came together nicely!
I went with ivory (the neutral) black (the main color) and red (as an accent). I thought the colors went together SO nicely and it looked really classy.
Ooh, what a fabulous tip! I believe that choosing the wedding color scheme may be one of the most exciting things about the planning stage! :)
